Conscious luxury: Our commitment to sustainability
At Hoteles Casa 1800, we believe that true luxury respects its surroundings. That’s why we take care of every detail, not only for aesthetic reasons, but also out of commitment: to people, to history, and to the planet.
Plastic elimination
Responsible energy use
Towards zero paper
Less water consumption
Healthy lifestyle
Food waste control
Located in the heart of historic cities such as Seville and Granada, our boutique hotels combine elegance, design, and hospitality with a responsible vision. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, regenerating the surroundings, and actively collaborating with our community.
Energy efficiency
We are committed to conscious and responsible energy use:
- LED lighting throughout the hotel, accompanied by motion sensors;
- 100% of the electricity comes from renewable sources;
- Gradual implementation of aerothermal climate control systems (and soon, geothermal systems in Córdoba);
- Faucets and water systems optimized to reduce consumption without compromising comfort.
Responsible waste management
We give materials a second life and minimize waste:
- Active recycling of glass, paper, cardboard, batteries, and toners;
- Collaboration with the Nespresso coffee capsule recycling program;
- Control and reduction of food waste in our breakfast and afternoon snack services.
Less plastic and paper, more digital
We reduce the use of paper and single-use plastics, promoting cleaner processes:
- Locally sourced filtered water served in reusable glass bottles;
- Replacing plastic laundry bags with non-woven fabric, which is recyclable and environmentally friendly.
- We add informative QR codes, eliminating service directories.
- Sustainable dispensers and elimination of single-use amenities and food packets.
- Complete digitalization of the check-in, check-out, and billing process to reduce paper consumption.
Committed to sustainability
We take care of every detail to reduce our impact on the planet.
We work daily to promote a more sustainable tourism model, adopting measures that ensure energy efficiency, waste reduction, and respect for natural resources.
Social commitment
We actively collaborate with charitable organizations such as Cruz Roja and Nuevo Futuro, supporting those who need it most.
We promote internal training in equality, sustainability, and inclusion to build a conscious and committed team.
We participate as Hotel de la Felicidad in the International Happiness Festival (Granada, 2024 and 2025 editions), fostering emotional well-being as part of responsible tourism.
Committed to our surroundings
We preserve history, support local initiatives, and sow the future. We believe that true luxury lies in authenticity, closeness, and caring for our surroundings. For this reason, each of our actions aims to generate a positive impact on the community and the heritage that surrounds us.
Conservation and heritage
We lovingly maintain historic houses located in protected areas, such as Cultural Heritage Sites (BIC), respecting their essence and architectural value.
Purpose-driven leadership
Inspire by example. Transform through action.
We define a leadership model that not only manages but inspires, transforms, and leaves a mark.
Our CEO, Francisca García Moreno, drives a bold vision committed to more conscious, regenerative, and human-centered tourism.
